Vienna!

It's been so long since I've updated this that I forgot what I did here... Well, the first day I just walked around a lot, saw some cool things and drank coffee with Bailey's. The second day, I walked to the Schloss Schonbrunn and checked out their garden, as well as the Tierpark (zoo). They have a pretty damn epic zoo! But then again, the king owned it and needed animals to entertain him. This zoo is SO epic, that I got lost in it and got too tired and then got too cranky. Lolz. I then took the tram back to my hostel, bought a new random book to entertain me for the next three weeks and got ready for the night.

The night was a Vienna traveler's pub crawl! It was fairly cheap, 15 euro got you free beer for an hour and shot at every bar you went to and a free pizza. There for SURE blurry parts, since people were nice to me and bought me additional drinks, but I got to bed at about 6AM. I know for sure though, that I had a blast.

The next day I had a lunch date with a fellow student of mine from IES (Berlin). We caught up and stuff before I chased my other train. I was NOT aware that the tram station and train station are NOT connected, as they usually are. Me, being slightly hung over couldn't comprehend WHERE. Once I found it and saw my train sitting on the tracks, I ran for it... as I my feet touched the platform, IT LEFT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. This train leaves once an hour. I did not want to wait. I saw a train that left 45 minutes from that time, so I boarded that. Fell asleep, got sick, slept more. This train... brought me to the right city. But to the WRONG station. So I first just sat on the benches, basically facepalming myself for a good while until I asked the info desk  how to get to where I needed to be... which was Bratislava, yo.

Karlovac/Pula, Croatia

Well, as with everyone... seeing some family is nice, but sometimes exhausting. I re-met another family member after many years as well! The game plan, as always, was to go to the Adriatic Coast in a small camping village called Stoja, where we rented a small mobile house. I could basically jump into the sea from where it was. Awesomee.

I got a pretty nifty tan, swam a little bit (the  current is reallly strong, so even if you swim for a long time, you don't get very far) and read the second book in the Dark Tower series. We went out almost every night (not crazy, just left the camp).

Visited the arena/colesseum that gets underrated because of Rome's. Saw a concert, for which a punk band consisting of an 11 year old singer opened. Saw a play called Birds, based on Aristophanes' play. Went on a little tour and through a mini safari on an island. Drank wine. yayayaya.

Early morning wake up time for Vienna!
